We carry out a measured site survey, check levels and load requirements, and confirm foundations, DPC positions and reinforcement details with the client or structural engineer.
We supply the correct concrete blocks, mortar mixes and stainless-steel fixings, then construct walls, bond beams and grouted cores with accurate line, level and alignment.
We complete any cavity ties, lintels and damp-proof courses, carry out structural checks, leave a snag list if needed and provide a written handover with care advice.

What we build — TW Stonemasons install concrete blockwork for foundations, load-bearing walls, party walls, boundary walls and structural repair work. We use medium-density and thermal blocks as specified, install wall ties, lintels and reinforced bond beams where required, and grout cores or install stainless-steel reinforcement to produce a structurally sound build ready for plaster, render or cladding.
New build and repair — For new construction we coordinate with engineers and follow specified block sizes, mortar grades and DPC positions. For repair projects we match existing masonry where possible, stitch cracks, rebuild compromised sections and ensure new blockwork ties correctly into existing fabric. With 15 years on sites across Central Scotland including Edinburgh tenement conversions and Perthshire extensions, we deliver practical, long-lasting results.
